Product Function Description
1. Ultraviolet light is a type of light wave that cannot be seen by the naked eye. It exists on the outer side of the ultraviolet end of the spectrum and is called ultraviolet light. Based on different wavelength ranges, it is divided into three bands: A, B, and C. The C-band ultraviolet light has a wavelength between 240-260 nm and is the most effective sterilization band. The strongest point of the wavelength in the band is 253.7 nm.
Modern ultraviolet disinfection technology is based on modern epidemiology, optics, biology, and physical chemistry. It uses a specially designed high-efficiency, high-intensity, and long-life C-band ultraviolet light-emitting device to produce strong ultraviolet C light to irradiate running water (air or solid surface).
When various bacteria, viruses, parasites, algae, and other pathogens in the water (air or solid surface) receive a certain dose of ultraviolet C radiation, the DNA structure in their cells is damaged, thereby killing bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens in the water without using any chemical drugs, achieving the purpose of disinfection and purification.
2. The ideal conditions for using a UV sterilizer are:
- Water temperature: 5℃-50℃;
- Relative humidity: not greater than 93% (temperature at 25℃);
- Voltage: 220±10V 50Hz
- The water quality entering the drinking water treatment equipment has a transmittance of 95%-100% for 1cm. If the water quality that needs to be treated is lower than the national standard, such as color degree higher than 15, turbidity higher than 5 degrees, iron content higher than 0.3mg/L, other purification and filtration methods should be used first to achieve the standard before using UV sterilization equipment.
3. Regular inspection:
- Ensure the normal operation of the UV lamp. The UV lamp should remain in the open state continuously. Repeated switches will seriously affect the lamp lifespan.
4. Regular cleaning:
According to the water quality, the ultraviolet lamp and quartz glass sleeve should be cleaned regularly. Use alcohol cotton balls or gauze to wipe the lamp and remove the dirt on the quartz glass sleeve to avoid affecting the transmittance of ultraviolet light and the sterilization effect.
5. Lamp replacement:The imported lamp should be replaced after continuous use of 9000 hours, or after one year, to ensure a high sterilization rate. When replacing the lamp, first unplug the lamp power socket, remove the lamp, and then carefully insert the cleaned new lamp into the sterilizer. Install the sealing ring and check for any water leakage before plugging in the power. Be careful not to touch the quartz glass of the new lamp with your fingers, as this may affect the sterilization effect due to stains.
6. Prevention of ultraviolet radiation:Ultraviolet rays have strong bactericidal efficacy and also cause some harm to the human body. When starting the disinfection lamp, avoid direct exposure to the human body. Protective goggles should be used if necessary, and the eyes should not directly face the light source to prevent damage to the cornea.
